Didn’t accomplish my concern about the horrible break noise and sound in the steering column.I understand the break issue is on going with VW vehicles but l have less than 21,000 miles on this 3 year old vehicle with one more year on my lease and I was informed it was something VW was working on replacing a product back In the pads in the future but was going to cost me over 400.00 dollars to replace with the same brake pads that are on it now, that’s ridiculous, why would l do that? The brakes make a loud grinding sound when l apply and at traffic lights and people setting over look at me, really embarrassing! I have enjoyed my vehicle experience but this brake issue has been from day one and l had inquired at time and was told it was a problem three years ago. I have one more year on my lease and in the beginning was looking forward to continue with a new leased VW but at this point I definitely am going to reconsider.
